my xbox is, obviously, a zephyr and when i turn it on, sometimes it boots up immediately, and some other times times i have to turn it off and try it again, and again, and again. either it starts up within the first 10 seconds or so, or doesnt at all. can anybody help me with this, can it be the soldering? ive had to turn it off and on 10 or more times at certain times, it gets very frustrating.

Either solder cap to CR points on rev.A or bridge cap points on rev.B

You can't just dive into everything RGH, you need to read, read, read, and then read more. There are no shortcuts, FYI there are no handouts if you don't read. Here's the link to TX tutshttp://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=120

Everyone here is willing to clarify, but please read first.

To be honest, there isn't much you can do with a Zephyr to improve boot times.

They are stubborn units at best so I say be satisfied with the 10 second boot times, you won't get much better from it really.

However, as said above, images of YOUR install would be great :).

i will be posting pictures up later, i would be fine with the 10 second boot time, but it doesn't always boot. it glitches every 5 seconds or so, but never boots, ive left it on for a couple minutes before turning it off. then trying again, over and over.

There are things you may be able to change (such as wire positioning) but other than that, there isn't much else you can do.

Which CoolRunner do you have - Rev A or Rev B (with the on-board cap)?

Y'see to the right of points A and B is two other points that say CAP... that's rev.B
