Hi i posted a thread the other day when i was trying to glitch a falcon on dash 16537 with cb 5774.. unfortunately the thread was closed as i was told i have a fake coolrunner rev c (i honestly didn't know).

Anyhow i'm just wanting to get some info on what to order if possible pls to glitch these console's and if they can be done with the CB's that they have:

x3 Falcon Dash 16537 CB 5774
x1 Jasper Dash 16547 CB 6754
x2 zyephr Dash 16203 CB 4569
x1 Corona Dash 16203 CB 13181

I already have the jr programmer v2
should i order a coolrunner rev c or the coolrunner v3 lite cr3..
do i rgh2 or try r-jtag?
I also came across the new CR4 XL TX .. should i wait for this to come out?

Any help would be very much appreciated :)

The R-JTAG kit will work fine on phat consoles if you can find one, but the CR4 is due to be released soon (it's in testing), so I recommend waiting for that and then order a few of them for the consoles you have (it supports phat and slim consoles).

If you can't source rjtag I would wait for the cr4 especially if your trying to do it yourself. Any cr3 lite u likely order will be a clone.

right i'll wait out on the CR4 then :) just one quick question though, i noticed a lot of people having problems with consoles with the same CB versions i have.. from what i was told the other day was to use a pre built ecc, just to confirm.. is that the ones i found in the jrunner program in the common folder?

I forgot to mention that the CR4 won't work with Zephyr boards.

You will need an R-JTAG V1.1 kit for that board, but to be honest, they are more hassle than they are worth.

Yea i read a lot of problems with the Zephrs, i was in 2 minds weather or not to bother with them.. would you recommend the r-jtag for the falcons while i wait for the CR4? ..

what about the CB .. is it right to use the pre built ecc's? and are they the ones i found in the common folder in jrunner?

i was just about to say i just noticed ur from Colne.. No don't think so m8.. but nice to bump into a Lancashire lad on here ;)
