My camera cannot seem to take a proper photo of my soldering...but I followed FiB3R's guide, everything went as expected, until I got to the point where I connect to the TV to boot xell for the first time ( I used the power button, since DVD not yet connected) then both the lights on the coolrunner and the xbox only flash green, gets nowhere.

I wanted to take the coolrunner out of the picture, and flashed back my original nand using nandpro, disconnected the red 3.3v wire to the coolrunner. All I get now is flashing red, sections 1, 3, and 4 and no video.

If this the right way to put things back to normal...most likely I have messed something up...I suspect trouble around the cpu_bypass area - I may have nackered the little surface mount componet just above the area to solder the wire.

Many thanks.

When you wrote back the original did you power cycle.

If you didn't you do need to power cycle.

Did you have any bad blocks in your nand.

Did you remember to program the coolrunner before you soldered it on.

Thanks all. I had no bad blocks during dump, and I did power cycle after flashing to original. I also did update the coolrunner with the right glitch file (i think it was already solder in place by that time).

I guess what I was trying to figure out now is if I did something fatally bad to the box, and I am worried about the area around cpubypass because I had some trouble and got extra solder on the componet just about it...

Here is a photo of the area, the wire already came off.
Flashing back to original nand with no power to coolrunner yeilds the three red blinking lights sections 1,3 and 4.

Also do I have to remove all the wires to the board, and qsb from the coolrunner so I can test properly if the box still functions with its original nand? Right now, I disconnected the power 3.3v to the coolrunner, and of course the cpu bypass because it came back off.
