I had followed the JAG Tool tutorials regarding the RGH. but after install ecc file there is a blank scrren and just a green light blinking my xbox 360 jasper. all the wires are secured and soldering point looks good. I need help Please!!!
is it possible that the nand size is not 512M (I didn't checked the memory info on the dashboard, but according to the nand details - Samsung).
I have attached the 360 dump tool capture on my NAND for more useful information....

Thanks!!!!!!!!

How long did you leave it trying to boot?

Did you put in the capacitor?

How'd you create the ECC?

What command did you use to write the ECC?

Same thing with me. Also since yours is a BB jasper. Try the little blue capacitor that came with the CR. Install into GRND. And Pll Buypass on the CR

Green and black pads.

in a relative variable
which "Jtag tool tutorial" did you follow? is this your first ecc write to launch xell or your second after creating with cpu key?
the nand you posted is 100kb, i hope thats not your nand dump.
the blinking green light is it on the 360 front panel or the coolrunner?
did you set the coolrunner back to "NOR" mode after ecc write?

if you are still having trouble we will need more details (not files) in order to help you.

Thank you all for your response....
1. I have followed these tutorials in order to install the RGH (coolrunner + QSBs).

2. after the .ecc file was dumped, I have waited for 3-4 min in order to boot but the xbox keeps blinking (centered led in front panel).
3. I did put the capacitor according to the image posted on one of the tutorials.
4. I have created the ecc with the 'jtag tool' according to one on the dumps (both identical) and also wrote the ecc this the same software(jtag tool).
5. the green light on the coolrunner is NOT flashibng (only the red one - pwr).
6. this is my first ecc write to launch xell ( in order to get the cpu key) - but blank screen and flashing xbox led.
7. yes, I did set the coolrunner back to "NOR" mode after ecc write.

do you think the dump is corrupted?? both were identical...it it possible that the jasper nand size is not 512M and the procedure was wrong???

one more question....in the coolrunner bundle I got both QSB boards (for slim xbox) and jtag board (with 2 diodes which need to be connected to the board), DO I need the JTAG part if I'm using the Coolrunner??

Thanks........

1. Read my link on roadmap for noobies. See whether you have a BB or SB jasper from this.

2. Pics of your soldering and wire routes please.

3. You don't need the diodes.

Yep, you have a BB Jasper so follow the guides and make sure your wires are all soldered correctly, the wire positions (REALLY important) are away from any interference and the jasper timing file is programmed to the Coolrunner.

Let me know what happens - the green light should flash every 5 secs or so, but might take a few to glitch. The 68nF Cap across A and GND should help. also try with the CR in 'slim' mode. I had a BB Jasper that would only glitch with this set.
