I know slims are supposed to boot slow... but I thought that was before the 360 logo popped up... mine launches fine usually, but recently (after I edited my launch.ini file) its begun launching and freezing at the 360 logo... I can still access the xbox guide menu, and sometimes work my way to dashlaunch or fsd(normally boots to the latter as specified in ini...)

So is this normal or is there a way to resolve this?

this is my launch.ini
[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0 DE99990F586558
Default = Hdd:\FSD\default.xex

[Settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true
contpatch = false
fatalreboot = true
regionspoof = true
dvdexitdash = true
xblaexitdash = true
debugout = false
livestrong = true
remotenxe = true

if you have a different or improved launch.ini please post & explain!

mine setup like this

[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0 DE99990F586558
Default = Hdd:\FSD\default.xex

no big deal, I don't need those extra settings anyways

Have you also tried to see how fast it boots directly to NXE?
Try this first, I suspect that it is FSD scanning the content on your hard drive.

I wouldn't worry yourself about it as this is normal behaviour, the load times will increase or decrease depending on how much content you have on the hard drive :).

well the load time is instant for dashlaunch, but still sometimes slow sometimes quick for fsd... I reloadedall the files... is there anyway to make it load faster? disableing autoscans doesnt seem to help much..

I also do not have any paths set up and it is still slow...

sometimes it takes 5 mins to even start... this is not answered btw...
