Thanks Antalpromille you made me laugh at least !!! Antalpromille is write lets leave the image building alone for now
How did the post fix adapter fit over the XGPU. can you measure the Resistance from pad five on post fix to ground should measure 55 to 60 Ohms
and just like Antalpromille stated do you have another CR-4 to try
Have you tried different dip settings? It might be worth trying, if you havnt already. it also might be worth trying to build a glitch2m image(Probably wont help, but it cant hurt to try)
thanks for the advice guys. Unfortunately I dont have another one until xconsole ships me another and I was almost thinking something might possibly be wrong with the cr4. I tried dips 3 and 4 but I'll try the rest after this post. I also flipped all the switches on the bank to make sure none were stuck halfway from the factory but ill hit the dips in a minute. and thanks for the input antalpromillie. Vegas i know im going to sound stupid but I dont know how to measure with a volt meter.Do you think you could give me a brief description on where the dial should be and should I check the ohms while the console is running or off with the power brick plugged in? I will also try the glitch2m in a little while if all else fails. Also CHECK OUT THE VIDEO just got done uploading basically its running at the beginning of the video and I turn it off with the controller then start it up with the controller and thats where you see it red ring. I paused the video and tried again it red ringed then tried again and it booted thats when I started filming again. Honestly im not sure....does that make a difference? Think i might have fixed the issue I have 5 successful boots so far and right before I refreshed it would red ring exactly 2 seconds after the 4th time the green led lights up
Sneak a look under the Heat sink read the ram is it wind bond 2-k or samsung I also had one slim corona stop glitching wile using Rater at the 5th cycle every time because of image build troubles
does it not sound like the Kook from Germany who struggled with his windbond Super slim
his post But after I made the Xebuild Image and I flashed it into the box, the Box will not start ! The chip makes blink blink. is there a special way to get the winbond2k models to work with the CR4 XL ? After 2 - 3 mins of blinking the CPU fan goes fast and console turns off.
What can I do to get the CR4 work into the winbond2k Model 4 GB ?
Taking it apart now to see if its winbound or not then im gunna resolder the cpu wire and redo the heatsink topped off with a snapshot to show my soldering of the wire
Im not really sure where to look I peeked under the x clamp but cant see anything like that so ill upload a picture when im done soldering the cpu wire again

I can see you have ribbon cable connected to qsb. Did you try to boot console without ribbon cable? I used my last QSB maybe in 20+ installs and last few xboxes were freezing on xbox starting logo until I desoldered QSB (my qsb looks terrible - bunch of wires soldered and glued together , had to improvise, my reseller was out of stock). I don't know if desoldering qsb will help, but try that without ribbon. It will take a minute to try
They are Samsung 322...ive tried without the cable many many times im gunna upload my pictures in 10 mins tell me what you guys think about my cpu reset and I put a new wire on there so this one is white in color
re did the cpu reset and used a differant wire, re-applied thermal paste and got it all hooked back up but its time to test...I'll report back in about 20.
Well I booted 15 times no problem and then got red rings.... booted fine another 23 times than got red rings....now tested another 5 times and boots fine?? Really weird how it still does it every 15 to 20 boots
Tested it another 15 or 16 times and it flashed red rings again....im gunna take a little break for a hour or so and get back to it and check the ohms from the post fix
If it boots most of the time with out the rrod, I would call it a difficult console, and tell the customer if it does that to turn it off, and then turn it back on, and it should work.
Its not for a customer its for my son but Im just trying to figure out if its something I soldered or hardware failures with the xbox but it wont give any error codes just shuts off after it flashes four times
