i am very sorry if this has aready been asked but i have looked for days now.

i have 2 slim consoles that i have messed up. both consoles now do not turn on.

the first console i installed just the nand x qsb and thats it, now it doesnt turn on at all just beeps. i have now taken the qsb off the console and still doesnt power up, when i took the qsb off i removed the resistor R3B15. i have put the resistor back in place and tested with multimeter it reads 33 ohms.

the second console i installed both nand x and the coolrunner, have read the nand but not flashed it!!
and now when i press the power button and all it does is light up, no power to fans or xbox, but the coolrunner light up red

post pics like you been ask to.good clear close up of your mobo of both.

the slim sounds like you damaged the stby_clk point.as it;s beepin but no power.

the second may also be the same issue.

you need to post a better pic than that bud..

need some clear pics if you want help

the 360 with the beep sounds like you have burnt out the resistor or when re attaching it may still be lifted or bridged

if this is correct its not a easy fix unless you are a pro, if you try to fix this you will most likely completely destroy the 360. If i were you i would send it to Martin C, good repair work and knows what he is doing.

Attempt to repair it at your own risk, if this is the second console to have been damaged i think you would be crazy to try again.

get some clear pics so people can offer you more help rather than guess what the problem is

best of luck

Even if the pic is blury, clearly you can see that he didn't use flux!!! it's super important!

the reason that one was just beeping and not turning on is due to that resistor, it must of got knocked when u were soldering the qsb on, then u knocked it again and took it off when removing the qsb, put a bit of wire on each pad and a 40ohm resistor in between

Why do you say that? Cos you dont see nasty flux burns on the motherboard? Maybe he applied it with a toothpick right where he needed it instead of using a cloth to apply it to the entire area (noobish way).

Actually, i can see some flux burn on the coolrunner itself, not the motherboard.

is it just me or are there some random splashes of solder on the board? i would first check if one of those solder bits didn't end up somewhere and bridge something. the hana point looks ok in my opinion.
