Hi there, I recently RGH'd my xbox360, bought a 2TB Seagate external HDD, made two partitions, one formatted into FAT32 and another exFAT (for use in mac and windows).

My xbox360 (NXE AND FSD) does not recognize my device. Everytime I go to system>storage>configure, the HDD name won't appear (appears as blank and only the icon shows up). NXE ALWAYS tells me that it needs to format the device.

The problem is, I already have 600gb of game isos on that HDD and CAN'T format it anyway.

The Fat32 partition is set as primary, while the exFAT is logical.

I already tried deleting the exFAT partition and extending the FAT32 partition, but nothing.

Any help?

Your HDD won't show up in nxe dashboard. It will just show up as a USB storage device. However it shud show itself in fsd. When u say u have iso files on your hdd , do u mean converted iso's.

Have u tried another USB storage device like a USB stick as fat32 to see if that shows up.

Hi, thanks for your reply. It doesnt appear in FSD at all. I have extracted ISOs on this hdd and they show up on FSD thru conx. I have a usb stick formatted as fat32 that indeed shows up in both nxe/fsd....

Before we give you any more help, I want to know one thing.

Where did 600GB of games come from?
I was wondering the exact same thing. That's a 120ish games at at least an average of $35 a pop for a total of $4,200ish. Dude must be rich.
