Got a posing question here can I rgh an E71 Falcon.
I know this is weird but was given a unit with no history when it boots up 14699 dash is displayed as soon as I insert a disc the famous error code pops up. The reason for asking has anyone done an rgh on a unit like this as I said before dash is displayed until disc inserted. Before anyone quotes hdd , remove dvd , or usb , power cycle with sync ect.. ect.. done all this .:)

Depends on what's causing it. Sounds software related. Rgh it and build a new NAND.

Southbridge reflow might fix it (only have heard stories)what's the secondary

IME it has always been NAND related. I had a jtag that I created an image from a donor NAND that solved the issue.
