RGH problem

Hi Yall,

I have a similar issue to the thread starter on the glitch thread in j-runner support forum but I cannot post there.

I also have a slim trinity on 14717 (from 14699 flashed using rawflash in xell) which freezes on boot. It was built using the latest 257 beta of j-runner.

Any suggestions? What info should I post to assist troubleshooting?

xell reloaded 0991 loads fine after flash

flashed using rawflash elf from jrunner folder using xell 099

always locks up on xbox logo

any help would be much appreciated, i may try rogero multi builder

try flashing with a HW flasher, fixed a simmilar issue for me..
any bad blocks?

don't have a hardware flash unfortunately

How did you read the nand then?

Made a dump through xell then fed the dump into jrunner

The xbox was originally RGH'd for me

When making a 14717 image from 14699, the LDV value has to be increased by 1(ie=8 is now 9). Sorry if you've already heard that.

lol you're talking to an RGH noob so thanks for taking it easy on me

tbh I did read a snippet about that chaning between the two dashes, but didn't know how it would affect me. I just did another flash using an image from rogero and it worked fine. Jrunner still is in beta so it's understandable. How/where do I need to take in consideration the LDV incrementation?

heh just noticed jrunner updated to 259, they've probably already fixed it and have also added 14719

I used new multi builder v .81 to build my 14719 image off of my 14699. 360_Multi_Builder_v0.81\Data\my360 in my360 should be an options.ini txt file, read carefully here as you need to input your mobo, CPU, DVD, and CF LDV(this is the value you increase by 1).

Okay I just saw rogero 0.81 pop up. The changelog says that is only required when building retail images, is that correct?

Have you tried building 14719 with the latest jrunner?

A few more hours and I'll give it a go. Yea retail, gotta make a new image for my dual nand.

One thing everyone needs to hear, when you have a Slim/Phat RGH that's on 14699 you DO NOT run the Official 14717+ update. You create a new hacked dash via JRunner, MultiBuilder, etc using your original NAND Dump from when your console was originally RGH'ed. This way you do not need to worry about LDV's or CB changes.

Updating this way can be done in 5 minutes, really, 5 minutes!

Try another CoolRunner, I had this issue once, I switched the CR and everything was OK. I sent the broken one to warranty and got a new one.

Jrunners been giving me thqt sqme freezing issue when creating images with dashlaunch patches. Reverted to multibuilder and it stopped the problem. Only happened on images built with dashlaunch.

Try building your image without dashlaunch and install it manually or build with rogero's tool. To be honest it's always been the most bulletproof for me anyway.
