I just got the RGH and NAND-X v3. I have installed all the wires and QSB's, still I'm a little bit confused about one solder point:

Where do I have to solder this point? Because if I would solder it, it would make contact with two resistors. I'm wondering if thats the point I'm missing? Because I have searched on Google there is nothing that I found helpfull.

Okay guys, I removed the QSB and done the wires manually (its much easier). I have plugged the USB cable in my PC (and in the NAND-x), I have connected the power adapter to the 360 mobo. The Coolrunner has a bright red light and a green one. I was wondering I need to program the coolrunner with a cable that goes from the NAND-X to the Coolrunner. On an another forum I read that Coolrunner from Modtraders.co.uk is already programmed, so I dump the nand with JTAG Tool from Coolshrimp, then I get to the part where I need to get the CPU key. I have hooked my 360 to the TV turned it on and nothing happens, the green led (front plate site) just blinks in green. Am I missing something here?

Ok, thanks for your replies. I have ordered the NANDX to Coolrunner update cable. I might have it tommorow (i hope). Then I will move on with the RGH project. I will let you guys know how it went.

Hello guys, I just got the cable. I have programmed the Coolrunner and now I'm trying to make the ECC file. I'm using the JTag Tool by Coolshrimp, when I try to make the ECC file I get the following error:

* found flash image, unpacking...
ECC'ed - will unecc.
Found 2BL (build 5771) at 00008000
Found 4BL (build 8453) at 00011340
Found 15BL (build 65535) at 00017340
Traceback (most recent call last):

File "build.py", line 72, in unpack_base_image
(block_id, block_build, block_flags, block_entry_point, block_size) = struct
.unpack("!2sHLLL", image[block_offset:block_offset+16])
struct.error: unpack requires a string argument of length 16

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I'm using this tutorial:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0wUrdQ1OS0"]Reset Glitch Hack Tutorial (PHAT) - Team-Xecuter NAND-X NAND Programming (Part 2) - YouTube[/ame]

I'm using JTAG tool from Coolshrimp. With this tool I'm comparing the nands, and try to make an ECC file from it.

When I make the ECC file my hardware settings are as followed:

NAND-X v3 connected to PC via USB.
NAND-X v3 connected to Falcon Mobo.
NAND-X v3 connected to Coolrunner via Coolrunner to NAND-X power Cable.

Coolrunner is connected on the mobo, set on PROGRAM MODE, PHAT MODE and the RED led is on.

Power Adapter is connected to the wall and MOBO, I did not turn it on. Here is a photo of the setting:

@alexhore: I tought RGH was possible on all the falcon mobo's?

I have configured Nandhealer, I'm testing it now. I'll post the results when its done. EDIT: It seems like my NANDS are fine:

Press a key to continue . . .
Screenshot when compared:

http://i39.tinypic.com/n1w9jp.jpg

As you can see it says "Pre-Jasper", but according to the power connector on the 360's mobo I have a Falcon.

I have tried 360 Multi Builder v0.7 before but where does it save the ECC file? Okay I wil re-try 360 multibuilder with the NAND file that was dumped with Nand Healer.

Here are my results of 360 Multi Builder v0.7:

warning:
********
The file "cpukey.txt" is missing from "Data\my360" folder,
Xell/ECC Glitch image will be built instead.

Press a key to continue . . .
After I press a key I get:

* found flash image, unpacking...
ECC'ed - will unecc.
Found 2BL (build 5771) at 00008000
[CB] version [5771] found !!
This CB version can be for a Falcon or an Opus
N.B:
If you have programmed your CPLD chip with the Falcon.jed file
and it's not glitching, then you can try using the Opus.jed file

Press ENTER to continue...
And again when I press enter I get:

Found 4BL (build 8453) at 00011340
Found 15BL (build 65535) at 00017340
Press a key to continue . . .
After this the DOS window just closes, and there is no ECC file into the Data\my360. Or is it saved on some other location?

can you have the nand-x connected to both the coolrunner and xbox at once? i would say disconnect the nand-x from coolrunner, not sure it will make any diffrences tho. likely not...

I just have tried that, it still doesn't work. The problem is I just can make an ECC file out of the NAND files. Yesterday I could create the ECC file without the NANDX to Coolrunner cable, even when I plug it out now I cant make it.

I'm going to install the last Framenetwork 4.0 lets see it that helps me out.

BTW: I also have soldered the 68nF capacitor on coolrunner (on pad GND -> A). I'm going to try the Framenetwork thing first, if that doesn't help I'll desolder the capacitor and see what the results will be.

New update of framenetwork doesnt do anything. I removed the capacitor now the 360 doesnt even boot. Going to solder the capacitor back and check all the connections again.

Okay my 360 boots, after I resoldered some wires just to make sure. I have opened the NAND in 360 Flash tool, and it says:

ERROR - Couldn't read file

It seems like the NANDS are corupt? But I wonder why the resultsin Nandhealer where positive?

as I thought.

NANDHealer is a pointless app as it's just checking files to see if they match.

It doesn't check the INTEGRITY.

Upload your NAND and post the link. I'm on my way home now but I'll take a look when I'm in.
