I Started on a falcon RGH but when i got done with the soldering i tried to read the nand but it wouldnt soo i turnted the xbox on and it came up with rrod (0022) so i unsoldered all the point and it still rrod so does anybody know how i can fix this, might of accedently soldered somthing together.... HELP PLEASE

post pics or the mods wont help u its in the sticky's that ur suppose to read. and they say that your not supposed to turn on the xbox with nand-x plugged in.. use the search function of the site as this issue has been answered a billion times

yea i kno i never turnted the xbox on with it plughed in i unplugged it all befor i did. and i have a xenon jtag that i accendetly turnted on with out heat sinks in. do u think that could of hurt anything? i turnted it back of rite away. i will post piks wen u get HD camera
You have most likely damaged the CPU_PLL_BYPASS point on the underside of the board (green wire point). Pics will hopefully tell that.

when you say "rite away" :facepalm: how quickly do you mean? 1second? 10seconds?
unsure if i over-reacted, but i nearly sh*t myself when i turned on the console with heatsinks, but without the fan, pulled the plug within 5seconds, and i was panicking. I should imagine no heatsinks, for longer than a few seconds, would have killed it.
Out of interest, why do people take the heat sinks off to do the RGH? I can appreciate doing 2 things at the same time since its out of the casing, but surely you would want to eliminate variables?
ive turned on consoles lots of time with no heatsinks. not super often because i have no reason to but it wont kill. and surely with just the fan unplugged it most definitely wont kill it. you are definitely over-reacting. :cool2: it will just overheat, the smc will freak and shut it down anyways.
Ohk i will check later and see if i accedently solder to thing together next to it... its a really small point. but will this be an easy fix. Thanks your a really big help because you always give me smart and detailed answers.

Also i didnt take the heat sinks off the xbox i was RGH i took them of a xenon jtagtable that i was jtaging... DUHHHH

For someone with experience with soldering, it may be an easy fix. For someone with poor soldering skills, it's easy to make it a lot worse.
I'm going to quit responding to you as you have failed to post any pics of your work what so ever in this thread and the one that was closed the other night for not doing what were asked. You cannot be helped here if we don't know what you have done.
