Hi,
I have been using jtag tool v:4.25 and all has been going well, booted into xell reloaded and taken a photo of my cpu and dvd key.

Now when i go back to the 'Read your cpu key.' part of jtag tool i type in my cpu key and checked it was 32 digits then checked the key quite a few times and saved it as cpukey.txt

When i click step 5(check key) and select cpukey.txt i get:
Unhandled exception has occurred in yout application, the error is The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program files (x86)\JtagTool\Nand.bin'because the file is being used by another process.

I am a bit stuck now on what to do,i read that i had to edit the cpukey.txt and remove the text and only have the key in there so i did this but still getting this error.

I expect its something simple can anyone help me out with this please.

"C:\Program files (x86)\JtagTool\Nand.bin'because the file is being used by another process"

You have a window open somewhere still with this in use. If not, then you'll need to restart JTAG Tool and reload the nand.bin you got and try again.

ok now when i click 'check key' i get the error:

Index was out of range.Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: start index

I clicked continue and then 'check key' again and i get the error:

\Nand.bin being used by another process again

I know its not open anywhere as its a fresh reboot

Are you trying to glitch the console or create a retail NAND? I'm sure you can answer this yourself.

its a good question,i got this slim faulty and found that the PCB board was faulty so was unable to read the key from it.
I now have the key after reading the nand and thought i just aswell RGH it while i was about it.
This is not my main console i use.
I have about 30 various 360 units here with errors of some kind,i get them passed onto me from a local electronics shop.

My next question is can i spoof any drive to put in this slim ? even a phat dvd drive ?

Now i have searched high and low on this subject, when i built my image with multibuilder i selected:
Build image with Dashlaunch v2.27/default launch.ini
BUT_A = Hdd:\FSD\default.xex
Default = Usb:\FSD\default.xex

when i boot the console it goes into the 14699 MS dashboard, should it not boot into FSD or Dashlaunch ?
Or do i need to put FSD onto the root of a usb or hdd for this to work ?

I have been trying to run xexmenu from a usb via demos but cant seem to do this either

Default is usb put fsd on the root of usb.

if Default is hdd then you install fsd on root of hdd

put the C0DE9999 from xexmenu into Content\0000000000000000\ folder

All you're doing here is posting the result of what you've done. We're not interested in the result as much as WHAT you actually did.
I put FSD 2.2 onto the root of a usb stick and it looked like:

Docs
Media
Plugins
Skins
default.xex
nxeart

I put this into my console and it gives me E71

Sorry if i come across as stupid but i am kinda new to this
