RGH slim not saving video settings

I have a RGH'd slim which is set up to boot directly into FSD.

Every time i boot the console it reverts back to old video settings. I end up with a small square for the image in the centre of the screen. I then have to get back to dash and change video settings back to 1080p before going back to FSD.

Its not really a problem but kind of defeats the whole point of booting directly into FSD.

I have a phat RG that is set up exactly the same but keeps the correct video settings. The console isnt disconnected/unplugged ever.

any ideas why it would be doing this and how i can resolve it ?

HDMI, yes?

Was it doing this before you RGH'd it?

Yes its HDMI and i took it to get RG'd fresh out of the box.

So what does your common sense tell you to do? Mine says "flash back to stock and see what it does"

Remember that by default, HDMI is set to auto sense so it might be picking up a different setting from your tv. Disable this setting and change the values manually to force 1080p.
