rgh slim xell help

So i installed the cr rev.b to my slim. After i write the ecc. image to the 360 the cr attempts to glitch the 360 but it never boots into xell. i have done a jasper before no problem and all is fine with that on so i dont think its my soldering. I used the nandx qsb for the slim but left the hana point untuched so i could use the alt point for point b. Cr glitches every 5 seconds like it should and i have also tried switching it to phat but same results.

Try to create ECC image using the latest J-Runner or in case you did then using latest MultiBuilder and vice versa.

I did several Slims with no problem but atm I have one with the same problem as yours. Only way I was able to boot Xell was to create ECC image using MultiBuilder and have the switch set to Phat. This baby never booted into Xell with the switch set to Slim.

However, after getting CPU key and writing final image back to NAND, it won't boot to the Dash at all, not even with the switch set to Phat. Atm I'm stuck there.

my cam sucks i guess i will post pics anyway hopefully it will help. also i tried everything with the bule wire. i had it unraped, wraped, mb in case and out. I also soldered the cap is that just to improve boot times like cuting the cup_rst down little by little till the sweet spot is found or can i leave the cap bridged? I also soldered most of the wires to the correct spot under the mb.

I started all again over using Multibuilder 0.83 and finally got this Slim working. Switch on Coolrunner set to Phat and it boots well in 10-15 sec.

Try it as suggested, hope you will get it working.

I just finished making a ecc with MultiBuilder .83 and was going to write it to the nand. I personaly like the jrunner app. So can i load the ecc_image to the source file and write it to the nand or should i use nandpro v3?

You can write your .ecc with either jurunner or nandpro, I would use nandpro since you already made it with multibuild and that seems faster to me but it really doesn't matter, I would also suggest putting your CPU_RST wire coiled under the xclamp that has made a huge difference every slim i have done

Have you tried best pigs to create ecc, just for the heck of it? How 'bout checking for bad blocks in the first 40, try nandhealer.

I trimed the cpu_rst wire down to 47cm about, desoldered the cap cause i had it bridged, have the wire coiled under x-clamp, boom Xell. Thanks for all of your support i used a combo of everybodies replies to get this thing to work. Now I have my cpu key i can sleep just fine. Glad that one is over!:):cool2::D

What cap??? None of your pics showed a cap?

You shouldn't need any extra caps for slims, so absolutely no idea what you did or why.

I'm glad you got there, but it seems you made this hard work for yourself.

I bridged the two points on the coolrunner were it said cap to enable it i did not add an extra cap. Then later i desoldered my bridge.
