Ok I am new to the TX forums and have been browsing other threads and googling around trying to figure out what is going on with the xbox I am trying to rgh. I have completed many jtags in the past and have run modern warfare 2 lobbies constantly. Swapping out KV's to get back online and so fourth. I got out of the scene for a while and really wanted to check out a rgh xbox. Heres what I have and were I am stuck at.

I have a Xbox 360 4gb model with a trinity board, the coolrunner, using the nandx v3 to read and write the nand and also using the CR cable to program the CR. I am also using the QSB for both the nandx and CR and the the POST QSB. The program I am using is Jtagtool by cool shrimp

Ok so I soldered on the QSB and connected the nandx to read the nand. At first I was not get the nand dumps to match. I rechecked my solder and dumped 6 times. Every dump matched with 0 non matching blocks I think its called. I am getting error: 250 Block 19D as a bad block. Ive read around since its not within the first 50 blocks that I am good to go with writing the ECC and continue. So I created the ECC using Jtagtool and wrote that to the nand. I also programmed the glitch chip with jtag tool. I put the CR on normal (the little switch). When I turn on the xbox it beeps and powers up but does not boot into xell. There is a red light on the CR but the green light is not on at all. Ive read it could be the blue wire. I triple checked the wire. I have it cut to 8cm since I am using the POST board. Its on point 50 at the moment but I have tried the other points as well. Still no green light. I have checked all the solder points and they look like they are ok. Ive tried to move around the wires hoping the green light would pop on, but nothing happens. I wrote the original nand back to the xbox and turned it on to see if it would boot normally but the xbox booted and the lights on the ROL went red, but thats most likely because I hadn't taken the CR out. Anyhow, I tried all the steps over and I still get the same results. Ive resoldered all the wires to ensure theres a connection and still getting no green light. As mentioned, the xbox turns on, but the CR isn't glitching it. Just a red light on the CR. Any help or advise will be very helpful. I will get some pics of what I have and get them posted.

Jtags were so much easier, I was about to just drop this xbox in the trash and call it a night.

Yes. It is on slim. I have read people having a sticky switch. So I've tried going back and fourth with the switch. If the console is on and I go from prog to normal. The green light will pop on like its going to work. Then turns off. Then just the red light.

Ive tried another CR board. Same results. My guess is something to do with the soldering on the back side of the POST QSB. Im not an expert but just have a feeling.

" I wrote the original nand back to the xbox and turned it on to see if it would boot normally but the xbox booted and the lights on the ROL went red, but thats most likely because I hadn't taken the CR out"

Indicates that your soldering is bad. Your console should boot with Coolrunner installed and on original nand.

When I wrote it back I did get an error at block 19D. but that was probably expected since I got one reading the nand. Would that have anything to do with it?

I've glitched my trinity just yesterday! I had the same problem as you for two nights!
I have soldering skills so soldering is the last thing I was checking, i resolder QSB - nothing changed BUT... when I lost any hope.. i just desolder B point at QSB then put small piece of thin plastic package(plastic package from QSB kit) under QSB and VOLIA! Xell botted on 10 seconds! I almost sure you've briged B poind under QSB...
I really hope I helped you... It was such pain for me to investigate this bug))

No bad blocks are common. Still believe its your soldering, maybe one of the soldering points at the POST QSB card are causing a short.

Try removing post qsb, clean up, set coolrunner to PRG, reflash original nand. If it boots then you have located the problem.

BTW I also try to back stock nand and had problems. Good tip: when you write original nand.bin you must use -w16 instead of +w16

Ok. Going to try to work on it for a little bit. See what happens. Ill report back.

I have dumped the nand 6 times. All matching. Dumped it so I had some extras. I used the jag tool by cool shrimp to write the nand back.
