Hi Guys, I've been reading all over the forum for a couple days while trying to complete this hack but I seem to have hit a roadblock...

Here is a rundown of my hardware:
-Trinity(Slim) Console
-NAND-X Soldered using Coolrunner QSB
-Coolrunner

I've been following this guide by DarkFib3er:
http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76193

and this guide by Martin C:
http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76014

I also used the alternate point for the STBY_CLK because it seemed like a much easier solder point.

When I connect power to the xbox I get a red light on the coolrunner and when I power it on I get a green light flashing every 5-7 seconds but It never boots into Xell.

I have read my NAND 3 times and compared them, they all match but I have a bad block at block 329. I followed Martin Cs guide to remap the block to 3FF but when I read my NAND it still gives error 250 on block 0329. What's also interesting is that it wont let me write block 0329 either (error 202: unable to program block 0329).
I have tried creating the ECC Glitch File in both 360 Multi Builder and JTAG tool but I get the same result.

1.) 90% of problems are related to soldering so I ask does the coolrunner green light flash even with bad solder points? I know it doesn't if the STBY_CLK(orange wire), CPU_RST(blue wire), or power (red and black wires) are disconnected but I haven't been able to verify the other 3.

2.) will not being able to read/write block 0329 effect the booting of Xell?

Thanks for your help guys,

Yes coolrunner does flash with bad soldering main wire that's a fukup is Orange wire for slim

Only first 50 blocks count on booting then use raw flash it will take care of your bad block
When this happens to me I do a compleate rewire with a new set
Never let me down yet

Thanks guys, I'm at work for another 6 hours but I'll resolder everything when I get back home.

but one more thing, I originally soldered my nand-x using the wire only method because I couldn't find the QSB. When I dumped my NAND with the wire method, I still had a bad block at 0329.

At this point, do you think my NAND has been damaged somehow or is there just not enough information to make that call?

You need to read up as much as possible before carrying on. Had you done so already, you'd have known that it's perfectly normal to have bad blocks provided they're remapped.
