RGH vs JTAG

So i have done my fair share of research on JTAG and RGH mods for both Xbox fat and Xbox slim and to me RGH just seems like a newer version of JTAG. I have an Xbox fat with a Falcon motherboard, and also have an Xbox fat with a Jasper motherboard. I plan on buying the XECUTER coolrunner with LPT cable included. Im just wondering if i should stick to JTAG or go with the XECUTER coolrunner RGH mod.

It all depends on the dashboard version.... JTAGGING can only be done on consoles running dashboard version 7371 or lower.

The dashboard version doesn't matter with the reset glitch.

Yeah if any of your consoles are past 7371 you have to use RGH. The point of RGH was to do everything a jtag could on any dashboard.

If you jtag you can always change it to a rgh. But you can't go the other way. Jtags are cheaper to do and boot everytime.

Chip wise get the cool runner.

Why are you doing both? You know jtag or rgh both means no Live yeah? Wouldn't you be better keeping one for live and one for rgh/jtag?

You can do exactly the same with rgh and jtag, just the method of modding differs

they are basically the same thing minus the dual nand option for the rhg they just use different methods to run unsigned code

Although you can't play on the official MS LIVE you can still play online via XLink Kai.

Not true, you cant run a Dev nand on a Jtag but you can on an RGH!

pretty much the jtag has been abandoned since the onset of RGH but i still like mine boots everytime without having to wait for it like a slim and the rgh is more expensive to get running. as a sidenote you cant swap hdd between the jtag and rgh and have all the programs work correctly such as fsd as the newest versions only seem to work correctly on a rgh so i would suggest to go with the rgh on both if you are going to have fsd just so everything works correctly.
