I have a Falcon with CR ver B. I had everything working well for the past month. I did have some issues with the console not booting every time so I wanted to add some insulation to the cpu_rst wire run. I also performed the efuse protection by bridging UT61.
After performing the efuse and insulation, the console would not boot. I unbridged ut61 and was able to boot into the console, albeit it seemed to boot less frequently than before. I switched between slim and phat to see if that would help at all and removed my solder bridge for the cap on the coolrunner. nothing seemed to help. The coolrunner would give 1 flash of green, but the xbox would not boot.
somewhere along the way i lost the ability to boot at all. I restored the stock nand and removed the wires from the coolrunner to see if I could boot the xbox stock.
It still does not boot and the green light on the xbox constantly flashes with no video.
any ideas where i should go from here?
thanks in advance

pics (I used the alt point for stby_clk and insulated the qsb from R4B24)

Have you tried using the top side CPU_RST point?

I helped somebody out yesterday with his install and moving CPU_RST to the top of the board gave him instant glitches.

So i should flash back to my glitched nand, reinstall the coolrunner wires and move CPU_RST to the top?
again, i am unable to boot stock... :(

not sure. i just wrote the nand again with coolrunner uninstalled, same results.

Edit: I read the nand again after I reflashed it and compared it with the original nand dump. nands are the same.

Edit #2: ok there is a reason why i am limited to the noob label and forums. apparently i need to have the hdmi plugged in for the xbox to boot.

whan whaaaaaaaan

I will try the top side CPU_RST point to see if that fixes the intermittent glitching.
