Hi there,

I'm new to JTAG and RGH, but do have some experience with flashing and modding Xbox360's.
While I want to try a RGH on a console I have lying around,
I was wondering if it is possible to get ISO-files of games on the xbox360 hard drive (which you click on the console itself), I've been reading on and on and everything applies for the external harddrives.. I do have a 250GB selfmade (WD) Xbox360 hdd lying around, so it would be nicer to use that one. If it helps, It is a phat-console I am talking about.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

Ok

Firstly, on a scale of 1 to 10, flashing a drive barely comes in at 1, whereas RGH is more like 6 or 7. Just something to bear in mind.

If you have an official HDD with games installed from discs, you can just run NXE2GoD when connected to your RGH console and it will make them all Game on Demand packages.

If you own the original disc's to those iso files that you are referring too then you can use either XBC's file browser or another similar application to extract the files to the GAMES folder on a Fat32 formatted HD after you have RGH'ed the console. However please be do a heck of a lot of research, studying and reading before to make sure you fully understand/comprehend what you will be needing to do. As Martin C stated flashing a drive is like a 1 compared to RGH'ing a 7 out of 10 so I wish you luck on your future endeavors.

first of all, I understand what you're saying about the 1/10 scale.
I think I've read enough about the RGH (so far about 10 hours research over the web)
And I'll have alot of help from the awesome guides on your forum.

Just a quick question though:
Is it possible to hook up the xbox HDD to my pc (I have the TX HDD connector), put on the ISO's on the harddrive, and the be able to play them on the RGH-system?

At last, thanks to both for your fast responses!:)

it's better to use [xiso] to extract da iso files frst, then copy them on normal fat32 hdd ... connect it to yr xbox and go ! .... it's up to u , u can copy them to internal to play them .... or u can play them from external it self !

u know why using rips better than isos ?
two important reasons :
1- playing from external (fat32 can't handle isos +4gb)
2- save yr hdd space (sometimes more than 4 or 5 GB per iso)

if you RGH your box, just use iso2god and use flash fx
to ftp the games strate to you content folder.
then you can play them off the nxe dash instead of been on freestyle all time.them fans frash head after abit.;)
Even better, setup ISO2GoD's FTP settings and once it's built the GoD container it'll FTP it over to your console.

Just to add hooking the drive to the PC the ISO will transfer alot faster than with FTP. Just an FYI
Tis true, but you need an HDD transfer kit to do this. If you don't have one, FTP is the better option.

Okay so from reading all your replies, I think I'll be setting it up with FTP.
As I don't want to walk up and forth with an external drive, and let it be as much automatic as it can be.

Anyways, I'll finish it now.. cables are soldered neatly,
starting on the NAND thingys right now.

Thanks all!:D
