Since the release if the new RGH can I RGH/JTAG my 360 phat made in 2005 with Xenon mother board?

If it's possible what parts would need to be bought?

From what I understand as of right now the xenon cannot be glitched but in the upcomming weeks it may be possable. Unless your dashboard is below 7371 then it can be jtagged.

under system settings you will find dashboard version 2.0.xxxx something, the x's will tell dash version.

Try Tutorials & guides from xecuter homepage..first understand about ur console there and then feel free to ask questions because little info will not give u correct answer anyway i think ur console can be jtaged a my guess is correct otherwise if its updated to above 7371 kernel u have to wait for RGH yet not released.Got it..?

Even when RGH 2.0 is released which will allow xenons to glitch they will be very poor and ideally will be good for key retrieval only. You want a stable console that glitches most if not all the time then invest in a falcon, jasper or trinity models.

Just got my dash board number, it's 8955.0 so I'll just get the x360usb and re-flash the dvd drive and go that way unless I can find a better console.

You could just be patient and wait for it to be released. But I'd go ahead and upgrade the console if at all possable.

If I can find a falcon, jasper or trinity model what version dash board do I need to get to be able to RGH and JTag the console? or will any dash work?

one other question would I be better off getting the Phat or trying to find a slim to RGH/JTAG? I can probable do more with the Phat right?

Longdog If it's just backups you want then stick with what youv'e got. If your drive is hitachi pre 78/79 or samsung good on you . If it's homebrew ect.. one of mine runs linux b.t.w get hold of a hdmi. Advise wise stay away from Zepher they are a pain to glitch at the best of times . It's cheaper to hunt down one with faulty dvd drive you dont need it right away for r.g.h they pop up on ebay quite cheap . If and when your ready grab a drive flash your key from faulty model and away you go . Goodnews is when Demon is out and about you can upgrade your hdmi model as well. Shame your not in U.K I have 20 xbox's for at mo tagged and rgh'ed even some old xenons I am going to try demon on .My wife says I am stubbon lol so I like a challange. I hope this advise has helped .

P.S If you do get hold of an older model don't forget to give c.p.u and g.p.u a good old clean and put some new artic 5 paste on chips .

I think I might have found a 2009 Jasper Xbox 360 with bad DVD drive, my question is can I replace whatever type dvd drive is in the xbox with my working Samsung? I know I will have to replace the key just wondering if you can swap drive mfr like that or if I will have to stay with whats in the xbox?

If going to be permanent RGH then you can use any drive you want on it.

I would like to thank every body here for all the help, I know I have ask allot of dumb question, I have two more dumb question if you don't mind

1 - does it matter what the dash board is on the jasper xbox if I'm going to RGH/Jtag it?

2 - XECUTER COOLRUNNER PHAT BUNDLE and the Xecuter NAND-X should be all I need to drop my games to a HDD and play them from there right?

back when the first xbox came out I fix one with the excuter chip and a muilt HDD's, I could select which HDD to fire-up on and play the games straight from the HDD, it was pretty neat.

1- yes it matters right now. 14699 or older is all thats glitchable

2- yes thats all the hardware need to rgh your jasper

likelyhood is if its a bad dvd drive its gonna have a older dash most people through them in the cupboard then sell them on when they get new system . Make sure you get powerbrick to match.
