Hey Guys,

ive done my rgh install and had it working used all original points and had it boot to xell once (but forgot to get my key before trying again)..!

problem now is i cant seem to get it boot into xell, my question to you guys is where and how do u install the 50 ohm cable...?

am i right in thinking u replace point d?? if so where is the top point located for the d point?? so i can top mount this cable and how the best way to install it is..!

Im Using A
0.047uF 50V Cap On Point A to GRD

I did the same thing. Booted Xell and didnt get key. For me what ended up working was using topside alt for point D and doing 20 minute boot increments. i.e if Xell didnt boot within 20 minutes I would power off for at least 2-5 minutes and try again. This works out perfect.

I kept resoldering points thinking that was my problem but in fact Xenons are just so freaking damn picky. Good luck and dont give up.

Its a through hole so flip the console over and use the same point - Bottom left of the set if you have the console facing you.

U sure it there..! i dont get continuity between the coolrunner d point and that point but do get it of the lil resistor just left of them???

point d is the resistor remove so not the through hole...???

Well managed to get it boot again without relocating point d..!

not sure how long it took i went to bed at 2am woke up @ 4 And Xell Booted..!

now i have my dvd key and cpu key..

now to see if i can try improve booting times.. & help guys that are struggling..!

So Far....

Using Original Coolrunner Rev A
used all original point on mobo
ran all my wires seperate holes
C & D Wires Run Under X-Clamps
0.047uF 50V Cap On Point A to GRD Only..!

But Uber Was Right These Boards Truely Are A Bugga..! Keep @ It Guys..!

You can create freeboot image with J-Runner. Just update J-Runner to latest version.

you can build xell for xenon but not freeboot image.
