Quick ? is it cost effective to RGH my xbox myself or have someone else do it for me !! and if i have someone do it for me .. can I update it myself or will i have to pay some to do it for me ????

Well it won't be quick since your new and have lots of reading to do. All hardware costs roughly $100 to do it yourself. $70 for someone to do it for you. You would need a NAND X to update yourself.
If you are only doing one or two for yourself, then I would pay someone. You will then be able to update it your self via USB when new dashboards are released.

So what you are saying that i can update it with out buying a nand-x and just by using a usb cable hookup to the computer .. is that right or do i have to buy the nand-x or pay the guy who RGH again to update it ????????
If you have someone do it for you they should give you the nanddumps and your cpu key. If not they suck, but you can get it yourself through Xell. Anyways you just take your cpu key and a nand file run it through your preferred xebuild and then you put the modified nand and xenon.elf on a fat32 usb drive boot into xell reloaded and it will update!
