I am going to RGH my xbox soon and was wondering how many watts soldering iron should i use?

i would say a 30 watt should be good 'nuff

The fact you don't own a soldering iron tells me you've not soldered before. If this is the case, I would STRONGLY recommend not making your first attempt a games console.

i agree with martin. i practiced tinning points and soldering some wires onto old mobo's first untill i was happy my soldering was neat and looked right. when you take the xbox apart you will see some of the solder points are alot smaller than they seem in the tutorial pics. if you mess up some points the it could render your xbox dead. theres a thread somewhere with a video showing how to solder corectly and how it is important.
