RGH RGH2.0 FALCON SLOW BOOT TIME

Hi I RGH my falcon on RGH2.0 I tried the 50ohm cable but that booted slower.. took over 7-10mins

I used the blue wire soldered to D to cpu-rst boot times are average 4mins

I bridged 1 &2 and removed jumper best method for rgh2.0.. anyway to boot this f**ker under a min?

I am not a noob btw ben doing this since jtag been out and ixtreme 1.5..

Does anyone have any sense how "Glitching" works the theory? I heard 50ohm cables most likely WILL NOT boot your console faster its only good on rgh1.0.. jasper booted fast my old one.. any ideas?

takes so long that I have to hit input on my tv to have it show up on the screen lol wtf is that all about? I heard HDMI does not work when RGH? Wont glitch or takes hours??

i have a falcon with hdmi and ity glitches in two seconds every time.

hdmi will work with falcon rgh2

They glitch fine but its a hit and miss thing with RGH2 and the Falcons. Some people get them to glitch in seconds. I've had one console where it would only glitch 1 in 10 and it took 20 mins. I ended up removing the glitch and I dont do RGH2 on falcons anymore.

5773, put 2k and 470pF in parallel with D pad and use blue wire (Martin C trick).
boot under 60 seconds.

Gotta say it's annoying when people say, 'I've never had a problem with RGH2 and Falcons - boots in seconds!' It seems that that will never be the case if you glitch 5 or more. I think there's a lot of BS floating about. Also I think a lot of people get RGH2 mixed up with 1. So they think Falcons are great, which they are for RGH1 only.

Is there a sticky which lists the preferred motherboards in descending order for both RGH1 and 2?

Damn that's annoying as it's hard to tell if it's truly small block until you get the NAND. So e-buying one from the average seller who has no clue is not easy. It's as much as they can do to correctly tell you the current dash version.

Well not quite - Jasper Pro and Elite consoles will be 16MB. Arcade consoles will be 256/512MB.

Big Block also has the onboard memory from what I've seen. So they can always go to the dashboard, memory management and see what else is listed. Have them check without the HDD to avoid confusion.

The Big Block is the onboard memory. Any big block has it. They didnt come with HDD's from the factory so MS included a bit more onboard to allow for profile saves etc.

Just as Martin said, any Jasper that CAME with a HDD is a 16mb, Any Jasper that CAME with a white Tray Bezel is an Arcade and has either 256 or 512mb onboard.

Also I noticed that this setup is a hit & miss also I used timing file falcon/opus when the console does glicthes boots into FSD.. I notice that my tv is still have the blue screen.. when I click input all the way back to the xbox 360 it shows up! Its weird! Its already booted just it needs to be inputed again.. you know what i mean?

I am cleaning the flux residue while the mobo is out.. while I have my thumb up my ass

so I clean the flux off the coolrunner rev c.. moved the standby_clk alternate point wire.. I turned it on and BOOM it booted into fsd.. I turned it off..

Booted the console up again less than 10 secs it booted into FSD! I will turn it off again

I believe its cause the standby_clk alternate point drams power from the mobo to the coolrunner.. and its interfering the cpu rst and post out signal.. I taped it to the case the standby_clk kynar wire ridiculous boots.. wanted to sell this sh*tty console now im keeping it lol

my theory is that the standby clk alternate wire was too close to post out and cpu rst blue wire for interrupting signal lol dont need anymore help thanks ppl!

reporting back about my falcon rgh2.0 boots into xell in 60 secs and less

boots to FSD 60 secs or less f**king awesome

tip clean the FLUX from the coolrunner points this will help! AND MOVE THE STANDBY_CLK WIRE ( MINE IS ALTERNATE ) FROM THE COOLRUNNER AWAY FROM CPU_RST AND POST OUT cause I guess the power being drawn for the board interferes the other helpless wires. . mind you bridge 1,2 and remove jumper.. always for rgh2.0
