It seems that interference is the biggest killer of RGH and RGH 2.0. I also have my POST_OUT ran away from my CPU_RST and STDBY_CLK

I use a 680pf cap with 10K ohm resistor in parallel, It seems that my console boots almost instantly on a cold boot, but as the console gets warmer it takes longer. But my boot times stay under 2 minutes.

Just sharing my info too :)

I use timing file B, 1,2 jumpered, c15 removed, and JP un-bridged.

yeah I noticed that having the stanby_clk wire from coolrunner B pad away from other wires made a huge difference! ( I actually tape the standby wire to my dvd drive hoping it never gets close to the other wires lol ) Took over 10 mins to boot my falcon rgh2.0.. didnt even need to use caps or resistors.. I can actually turn it on and no need to wait just 60 secounds and sometimes instant boot..

I generally bridge 1 &2 and remove jumper everytime i work with a rgh2.0 console to begin with its just better no need to piss around with it.. and I continue to keep the wire away from others lol boots quick.. hopefully this helps

Right here a falcon that i originally started on monday
thought yeah got my coolrunner got a few rgh able box's on 14179 dash

started it everything was going well dumped the nand twice made the ecc file flashed that over and thats when the trouble started

would not glitch for the life of me hour after hour went by still no glitching tried this and that then bam booted xell thought sweet got the cpu key and made the hacked image then flashed that over

the box was not glitching minute after minute went by then it booted 4 min + everytime
so then it was a mission to reduce these boot timing cause they where all coming out at different times all long

after working on it till 2 in the morning bare in mind i started at 1 pm

then i break a pad on the xbox arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and then a pad on the coolrunner lift off with all the messing around with it.

so i put it down and opened another box a jasper
got that done boot timing round the 20 sec mark so i boxed that up for rocky instead

this being the 3rd day now i turn my attention to this falcon again
right i goto fix 2 things before i can start messing again
1 being the coolrunner D pad (lifted due to the sh*t low loss cable to thick and not enough movement in it)

found a alternative solder point: (|Blue Wire)

then i had to repair the lifted pad on my xbox

heres the alternative fix i found on the here using a 330om cap and then a wire joined going to b on the coolrunner

once all that was done i turned it on and BAM 20 - 30 sec bot times HAPPY DAYS

I know this thread is old but maybe this will help out someone. Managed to get decent boots on a falcon between instaboot and 2 minutes with rgh2, coolrunner rev c with a kynar wire as the cpu reset... i believe it was 50cm long. I found some time ago a booting scheme that worked perfectly for Jaspers (going around the cooler as low as possible to the board and coiling a couple of times around the northbridge it should be just enough to reach to the chip.) and decided to try it on this falcon. Got the above results ;)

kynar cpu_rst - 50cm, 30awg (no resistors, capacitors, nothing)
coolrunner rev c with the c timing file

GL you guys still rgh-ing falcons:))
