My sh*t has been running on juice since I last posted in here, I think one boot over 2 minutes, rest under 40s.

That's over about 18 boot cycles too.

I stood it up :/

Not altered the wiring at all, it has been running with a usb hdd in - That's the only change apart from the consoles orientation.

strange. My client too confirmed that by inserting two usb, he shortened his booting time to a minute and his shortened booting time is constant.

Problematic jaspers with RGH 1.0 glitch faster when you turn with remote controler. Try if you have one.

Been reading this thread with interest guys just done my 1st rgh2 jasper (bb) would not glitch with the resistor in sequence boots without it tho... I timed 10 of the boot sequences this is what i got (I left it powered down for 5 mins between it was laid flat) i got 43/15/1.09/20/52/25/40/1.09/36/4 going to try it standing up and maybe use low loss cable see if it has any effect as its just the standard coolrunner supplied cables all wiring above board except post_out 1 would like to get boot times down a little and maybe sell this going to try the usb hd inside looks like thats helped some of you guys anybody else noticed anymore quirks with there RGH boxes that maybe improved boot times :)

edit = stood the console up and used hdmi lead as i was using component just got 10 under 20 second boots on the bounce crazy !

just finished 256 bb jasper
10 ohm R and CR program with B (best results)
having 20-25 sec in average
best time is 10 sec
worse 65 sec (1 of 15-20 boots)
its reacts diffrent when all the gear (DVD,HDD,fan) is on

The metal case alone changes drastically the boot time... here with file A without the case i get <40s boot tims

with the case, 2 to 3 minutes....

WIll try other files

and are you using the double shielded lmr-100a cable (one end grounded) for cpu_rst as instructed ?
Speaking of, Uber, may want to start mentioning a good place to ground said cable..if I'm right pin five on the same header CPU_RST is soldered to is a ground at least on Xenon boards, I can't imagine it changing on the others.. I always ground on the motherboard side cause I have to cut the shielding off to fit through that hole by the southbridge, guess if you run it on the top side under the fan shroud you could still ground on the CR side... Any opinion on which routing is better or is it going to vary by console again?

It's grounded exactly where the CoolRunner is grounded in my official guides

Routing is exactly like it is in my official guides (inc troubleshooting guides)
Hadn't seen that you posted those yet, my apologies. I'll go look 'em up.
