TX Product(s) used: J-R Programmer, CR3 rev C (clone)
Console Type: Trinity
NAND size: 16MB
Dashboard version: 2.0.16756
CB version: 9231
J-Runner log:

Description of problem:

Yes, let me start by saying this is a generic clone of the CR3 rev C (sorry - can't find the real thing these days). I'm trying to determine if that is the root of my problem. I am still on the unmodified NAND and I cannot get the box to boot with the CR3 in PGM mode (the LED is faintly red when in this mode) nor NOR mode (solid bright red LED). The green LED on the CR3 does not flash. I've tripled checked all my solder points (pics below. Yes, I realize that my CR soldering looks like hell, but that's because I've been troubleshooting.) When it tries to boot, it only beeps and does nothing else.

I've found I can get it to boot normally (shows 360 loading screen) if I disconnect wire B. I'm not sure what's up with that. I can disconnect all the other wires but the B wire and it will still not boot. The function is the same regardless if it is in PGM or NOR mode. I've also tried the phat/slim switch to no affect.

When B is disconnected, the box boots in either PGM or NOR mode, and the green LED does blink every 5 seconds when it is in NOR.

If it is worth noting, I have no issues in reading or writing the NAND or writing the ECC. I've been back and forth from ECC to stock NAND several times in trying to troubleshoot this.

I'm assuming the CR3 is somewhat OK, as I was able to flash the trinity.xsvf to it (however, only when B wire is removed from the CR3), and the green LED flashes as expected (again, only when B is disconnected). I've also tried the alternate B on the backside of the motherboard - same results: no boot, just beep.

I'm at a loss as to what the issue might be. Screenshots follow. Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.
