RGH RGH2 Zephyr, can't get CPU key

Ok, so this has got to by at least my 10th RGH box, but only my first RGH2. Coolrunner Rev. C.

So I dumped my nand twice and got two matching images. Generated ECC, flashed ECC, programmed coolrunner (strangely enough, I could not get it to program with the switch turned to PRG... worrisome), then flashed ECC.

My soldering looks pretty good. However, I made a noob mistake and my wire attached to orange wire (what is that... cpu_clk? the pain on the top of the board ha) got caught on something while I was handling the board and ripped off. So, I scraped that trace/via and soldered a wire from the capacitor to the via and was able to perform another write of the ECC image, so the soldering is good.

Given all of that, I cannot get this thing to glitch. I've tried the C and D timing files which should work for zephyr, and neither will get the thing to boot xell and display my key!

Additional information:
I've tried w/ the dvd drive and w/o the dvd drive.
I'm using an AV->VGA cable to display on my PC monitor (I don't see why that would make a difference though... idk)

I know everyone will ask for pix, but I know the soldering is good, and I also don't have a good enough cam anymore :(

Hopefully someone can help me... this is driving me nuts!

Regards

Smith

Pics of setup, even though u claim it as good, we have read that line before and then surprised once pics were posted.

and what cb are you on, if it's 4575, very troublesome and it's giving a lot of people problems, no solution to why it's not working for many, if any.

Not for nothing but many zephyrs don't glitch well with RGH1 so you may not even get it to with RGH2.

They are not worth the aggravation imo

Well I'm trying to see if it's doable because my buddy bought the coolrunner and wants me to do it for him, so I'm doing what I can ha. Otherwise, I'll probably buy the CR off of him.

But, do we have any suggestions? Will it make a difference if I de-solder the wire that I used to fix my dumb mistake? Also, obviously I'm using an alt point for the 'orange wire' though I used some spare green here.

I will try nearly anything ha I'm sorry for the image quality!

Check to see if your soldering isn't problematic by flashing back the original nand and setting coolrunner to PRG. This cuts power to the CR and the xbox will boot like nothing is connected if everything goes well. (your STBY_CLK point is a good place to start checking)

As Dave said, is your coolrunner flashing? If you have a CB 4575 Zephyr and you get 5-6 flashes and then nothing, just stop. No combination of things will get it to glitch.

Ok, here is my stby_clk repair photo (I scraped the via and the trace, so I used an excess amount of solder to attempt a good, sturdy connection):

Edit: updated image for clarity.

Ok, here's a question. I am confused... in the images in jrunner, it says that for RGH2 the JP shouldn't be closed, but on the Rev C chip it has a capacitor on it. The picture also states that the pts on the CR near R12 should have a different configuration than they actually do on the rev C board... I'll post a pic soon of mine

EDIT: Ok, so I've read a lot, and can't really find anyone who has managed to get RGH2 working on a zephyr. So, I'm just calling it quits. When/if TX comes out with CR2, and I see reports of the glitch working, then I'll help my buddy out. Oh well.
