Okay so BACKGROUND:
This console was bought cheap on Craigslist, because someone tried a Kamikaze and failed horribly. I picked it up, RGH'ed it and we rode off together into the sunset, ect.

NOW, I picked up another botched Slim today, it was a really bad RGH attempt with some "other branded" crap. It has a Stock Drive, so I picked it up for $10, to use the drive, and the cables.

MY ISSUE:
I DO NOT have the stock firmware from my RGH, as the drive was toasted to the point JF wouldnt even reconise it.I DO HAVE the key, from the RGH XELL, but that is all.

I HAVE TRIED "Manual Spoofing" the key onto the LT3 firmware for the new drive, but it just gives me "DVD Video" instead of a game, as though the key were wrong.

I HAVE verified the key in XELL, Jrunner.

Details:
RGH's stock drive was :
PLDS DG-16D4S 9504
Key: B7530798DF8B529F90AFE1D1911D5F36
(Jrunner info)
NEW DRIVE WAS STOCK AS:
PLDS DG-16D4S 0272
Key: 880F72C77F69614034FAC7D7E7676AC8

Now I know that Jungle Flasher does not allow spoofing on Slim drives because of Live and blah blah blah...but Im on a RGH, and gave Live the finger a while ago...I just want to flash this so I can backup my Kids Kinect Games onto this RGH...any help would be freaking Awesome, thanks!:)

P.S. I know that Fusion would fix my issues easily, however until its out of beta I'd rather not run it (this console is for the kids so the less to worry about is the reasoning)

Answered my own question on the bad key part...
"Genuine LT plus v3.0
Drive key @ n/a FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Firmware Osig: [PLDS DG-16D4S 0272]
Firmware is: LT-Plus 3.0
Spoofing Target
DVD Key copied to target
Key Sector copied from Source to Target
Target is LT - ID strings not copied to Target"

So from what I'm seeing there is just no way of swapping the drive in...unless someone knows something I can't find on Google?

My reasoning for not going with Fusion at this time is that DVD playback isn't implemented yet, A few of the newest games arent yet working (not such a big deal really). The DVD playback feature is a must have on this console, I'll only use the drive to rip a few games, however it will be playing movies the other 99% of the Drives actual usage.
