Ripping XBOX360 Games

I have a Lite-On 74850C that I am going to flash and use as a 0800 drive to read my retail games. I am going to put into an external HDD enclosure that has a USB 2.0 hook up. How do I use this on a laptop? In the old days I used to hook up my 0800 drive to my SATA card on my desktop but now it's laptop only.

Can I just open XBC and it will "see" the drive?

Edit - sorry, I originally said it was an iHas drive. I already have that in an enclosure and up and running. Duh.

you can use the usb pro,sata power cable and the molex to power on the drive via external mate

I can second the usbprov2, only had mine for a few months and dont know how i've lived without it. It, or older versions of it could do what your seeking.
