But Player 1 lights work perfectly fine with the debug LED. It's just this Player 4.

Im still thinking that it might be a gnd problem, i have no 1409 at home but if its not directly connected to gnd it could be it. If it is connected directlyto gnd, then i have no clue. How many volts does the CR3 output?

wow now this really makes no sense.

I got home and changed both player 4 LED's.

It now works fine

guess this is one of those 'wtf just happened' moments

the voltage must not been reaching to the old led from CR. anyways glad you got it sorted out
