Hello everyone. Thank you in advance for taking the time to look at this issue. It is a very interesting problem and I have not been able to find a solution or a workaround yet. Hopefully someone else here has had this issue and knows how to get around it.
I have a slim Trinity that has been RGH'ed with a CoolRunner Rev C and I am using a DemoN to dual boot between FSD 3, running on the hacked dash version 16537, and the retail dash version 16537. I am using the retail side to go online with my XBL account and I am using Cloud Saved Games. The key to this issue is cloud saved games. When this is enabled, background downloads is also enabled (System Settings -> Startup/Shutdown -> Background Downloads). When this is enabled, and the console is turned off, the normal behavior on the retail side is for the green light on the ROL to kind of "glow" (blink slowly) for around 10 seconds as it syncs up the background data before it completely powers off. This works fine when using the retail Nand and has not changed.
The problem exists when booting the glitch side and running the hacked dash and FSD 3. Since it does not connect to xbox live on this nand, and Background Downloads are enabled, when I power off the system from inside this nand, the green light on the ROL board "glows" indefinitely. I watched it glow for about 20 mins a few times before getting fed up with it.
When I disabled cloud saved games and effectively disabled background downloads, this problem does not happen when turning off the system through the FSD nand. However, I would like to avoid having to disable Cloud Saved Games just to get this pesky green ROL to stop glowing. I have a feeling that most likely that will have to be the case if I want to get this resolved, but I have a small amount of hope that someone out there has a brilliant solution to this problem. If that sounds like you, then lets get this thread going and hopefully help someone else out with this problem in the future.
Thanks again,
ShuaBlue
