Rolling screen at bootup

I have a version 1.0 xbox with a xecuter 3ce mod chip. Modded it a month ago and everything has been working fine until i just booted up. I get a rolling screen and then it goes to a screen saying my xbox needs service. I change the switches on the X3 to try to reflash the bios and I still get the rolling screen. What happened , did my chip fry?

I ran into the rolling screen today. I tried to play a PAL format game using UnleashX. It auto switched. I had to go into X3's bios & try to read it so I could switch back to NTSC. But then I was ok.

How do you switch back. The screen is rolling as soon as the xbox turns on.

The way I did was to sort of 'dis-focus' my eyes, and you can see some of the screen. That, and knowing the menu's a little helps. I'd give you a step by step, but my son has his xbox at his mother's now.

It's not easy, but it can be done.
