is any1 haven probs getin a hitachi 46 to read xgd3 formats??? this drive reads all originals and xgd2 discs but no way is it attempting a xgd3 game, also brand new laser in it to see and no difference

yes the hitachi farmware have probleme but i dont know why C4EVA said he fix just the hitachi79 strange the other hitachi also have problem !!!!!!!!

I did a 46 lastnight and I booted modern warfare 3 fine, was a full burn on verb.

did you do full burn to the discs using the LTMAX fw? Hitachi drives apparently are very fussy under the LT PLUS 2.0 fw.

Theres's been a solution found apperently Hitachi's dont support Truncated Method
so you have to burn them 100% method using ixtreme Burner max FW using the iHAS models

so i found this solution earlier in a post on another site

i haven't confirm it myself but will soon, ill report back ASAP.

Truncated does not work with the HItachi if you went online. Online you get the silent update and your screwed. You can get the HItachi to 2.0 but you have to burn the disk with a IHAS driver to 100% or it won't play and you will get unrecognized disk error. now the disk burned at XGD2 those should work fine I didn't have to redo those. BURN AT 100% it will work. My 59 and my 78 work just fine.

my 46 reads everything except my MW3 backup. I think it's the burn quality myself. I'm re-burning now just to see if I'm correct.

I can confirm this. My Hitachi 47 would not read XGD3 titles at all. Tried to burn a title using LTMAX fw and now working perfectly.

Alright so i just set up my iHAS324 and everything went smoothly in
The whole progress of flashing it and i can confirm it works i made a back up
of my skyrim it seems to work i just get passed the beseda logo and a skyrim symbol
Shows up and boom it stays there?... weird haha but i can confirm it works i guess i did a bad backup..

LT+3.0 will not suport truncate. Also new dash as new checks truncate will never boot, it has nothing to do with C4.
Get yourself new burner.
This Hitachi LT+2.0 support truncate but if you've done the silent update, truncate will not work.

All those people saying it does not work, stop truncate burns and get a brand new laser also.

It worked for me, booting XGD3 fine
