Does anyone know if there is a way to hook up a standard router to another standard router? Instead of have to run multiple wires into a far off room? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking Linksys routers?

What are you trying to do? Maybe there's a better way.

well my friend has his router hooked up to the internet modem down the hall and it only has 4 ports, and i wanted to hook up a router thats connected to his, i go into my 192.168.0.1 page and the router sees the inter but now gives me a needs dns server this, any way i find that out?

i dont know what his is, its some generic sh*tty router but mine that i want to hook up is a netgear wgr614 wireless router
