if I remove the rjtag power wire, and flash stock I can play games with no problem. There have been no other modifications to the xbox ever, except a flashed Dvd Rom. I'm the only person who has been inside the box. Granted, it's never had to have a reflow yet, but talking to my buddy, he just told me it RRoD'd on him once about 2 months ago when he left it on for a couple days straight. That, now, leads my back towards a needed reflow/reball. Before I started I checked the 2 points for 1.5K ohms and they both landed at 1.56K, so it's not those, so I suspect its somewhere else in the CPU thats loosing proper connection.

I also tried pressing down on the CPU, GPU, and SB, but that didnt help. He said he might end up getting a 250GB Slim soon for me to glitch out. That would be nice, since the CR3 Pro install I did on my Corona v1 was a cake walk. If he wants me to try a reflow on it, I'll report back here with the results.

Pause cannot be the same without F, thus your console is NOT slowing down. That's why you get A0. Please check E/F wiring and measure with multimeter. See if you can read 3v3.

I can go over everything again tonight.

Is this something a double shielded cable might help? I have a CPU_RST Cleaner too.

Sorry but there is no way to see if it slows down due to rater log been pretty slow on that pc. Try using POST MONITOR and start xbox manually.

Well, never really considered it a slow computer. It's an i5 460M @ 2.53Ghz with 6GB RAM. I'll disable any CPU Throttling that might be on, set the Affinity for Jrunner to all Cores, and Set Process priority to High. I'll try another log after that.

I replaced the D wire with kynar wire to the Alt point on top of the mobo. Using Monitor POST I can see a pause between 1D and 1E. Still not glitching on all 18 settings though.

Hi Scrufdog, have you found a way to boot your falcon. I'm doing one write now that giving me the same problem.
I have reviewed everything and can't seem to find why it doesn't work. that falcon never had a RROD as per my friend.
It boot fine without the 5.5v wire and retail nand.

that box was previously RGH with a CoolRunner V3 but boot time was slow so my friend decided to change for the R-JTAG.
I might open a new thread but since it was the same problem I was curious if you gave up on that box.

IF you found a fix let me know what you have done.
Thx

I managed to boot in xell and get cpu and create image and boot with modified nand but boot are very very slow.. I wil lprobably open a new thread for my issue but I seem to only be able to boot with 1.8v, DIPS 1,7 ON & AUD_CLAMP. If I use default voltage I get 90% of the time RROD. with 1.8 i'm ok but boot console boot only after 20 cyles.. and I tried switch 2-3-4-5-6 and it either doesn't boot or RROD.

I'm going to try without AUD_CLAMP and also TOP CPU_RST and worst case I'll try the old JTAG wiring without the QSB.

Don't hijack someone else's thread. Start your own and complete the template.

Neither of these things affect boot time.

@Scrufdog

Check that man

Another XBOX, another Result:

Falcon 5772
with Freezes and 0010

SMC Settings used:
ANA Fuse Val. = 03
Power mode = 8480
VCS Control = 8555

changed to:
Power mode = 8380
VCS Control = 8555
Result = Freeze ingame after couple of minutes

changed to:
Power mode = 8080
VCS Control = 8565
Result = Freeze after 30 Mins than 0010

changed to:
Power mode = 8280
VCS Control = 8565
Result = No Freeze at Dash and Ingame. Played 4 Hours Metro2033 without problems. + Better Glitch times (unter 1 min.)

Next time you should try that... I can guarantee that it works.
