Hi guys,

A jasper 16 Mb came for repair woth rrod 0022 after an attempt of reset glitch hack with coolrunner.

Xell was runned once, so i have the cpu key. but now it is stuck with rrod.

Wwhat i did so far:

- replaced 10K resistor on CPU_PLL_Bypass point, was blowed
- erase nand, write original image, stock generated image same result
- reinstalled coolrunner with image_ecc, but the green LED coolrunner doesn't blink
- used alternative point of CLK on the bottom of the board
- verified the point on CLK form HANA, the connection seems ok to resitance.

I haven't measured the resistance on CLK point witch leads to HANA, maybe it is broken to.
If so, could someone post the value of that resistance?
Thanks.

On other treads i read that nand may be also faulty....i may try to change that to.

If someone can guide me how to connect to POST to take debug i can do that, i am using LPC-2148, but i haven't done it till now; seems it is needed.

Thanks for any constructive ideas that may come. :)

How long does it take to show up the RRoD? 0022 can mean different things depending on how long it takes for the error to appear after starting up the console.

About 5 seconds, then RROD with orignal image.

With xell, no RROD, but the coolrunner doesn't glitch; that's why o think of hana point..will check later.

Does R7R17 now read as 10k in circuit?
Yes.

Measured R4B24 and it is 33 ohm.

So the fault is in other place.

My concern is why coolrunner dosen't glitch; tried with 2 coolrunners, no green led. Only read.

Could this have to do with nand?

Are you getting a pulse voltage from POST_OUT1?
Mhh, hard to tel.
It varies, rises from 0.17 V to 0.20 V and then drops to 0.033V and rises again to 0.2 V.:|

LE:
I checked on another Jasper and it should vary from 1V to 0 around glitch signal, so no pulse voltage on POST_OUT1.

Any thoughts?
