Hey everyone, I just got the RROD today on my modded 360, which I haven't played in a few days (haven't had a SINGLE problem till today). I played THPS:pG and it asked to do a system update, and so I accepted and when I rebooted it froze on me after playing about 10 seconds of THPS, and then when I turned off my 360 and turned it back on, it got the RROD, I did the "error code test" on xbox-scene, and according to it I had the GPU problem where I could use the "X-Clamp" fix, but it just confuses me because it says its mostly caused by overheating, which why would it do that when I played for like 30 seconds? I wasn't sure if there was a "Flashing" fix

As sucramjd says its a fooked solder joint, it must of been on its way out and the last 30 secs just took it over the edge. You need to do the heat gun trick or the letting it over heat method, search You tube for "heat Gun Trick" or "X clamp", the best one I think is the Heat gun trick and then do the X clamp to help stop it breaking again and invest in some internal or external fan upgrades. You should be laughing.......

Yup time for the X-clamp for you. Oh yeah that GPU heats up quick in like 5-8 seconds it's hot to the touch.

Microsoft ate alot of money because of that one design flaw.

X-Clamp is really easy to do. You could always do the Penny trick but i don't know how well that works. They say that it helps with the over heating part but the X-Clamp with some extra fans does wonders on that GPU heat.
