Hi all, I need your help guys, I just installed my first CR on a Jasper 16 MB, nand dump and writes ok, point B (orange) of CR is ok, I checked resistance with a multimeter.

Points on the back seems also ok to me, checked visually.

After ECC flash to start Xell I got 3 RROD after a second, fans don't start, CR have only red led on. My power brick led turns red when the console goes RROD.

This is what I did in order:

1 - CR programmed with Nand-x
2 - QSB installed on motherboard
3 - CR connected to QSB and motherboard
4 - Contacts bridged near R6T3 to prevent efuses blow
5 - Nand dump with Nand-x
6 - ECC written with Nand-x

I also flashed back my nand dump, but nothing changed, still RROD.

I will double check again all the back solders.

If you have any advice... thanks

Check around your solder points for any solder splash. Make sure you don't have any shorts from the solder.

Also what is the secondary code for the rrod?

Just checked all the solders, are good, even the green one is ok, checked with multimeter.

Will post some pics later.

How do I get the secondary code? Nothing appears on the screen..

You're shorting something - pics of your soldering please.

Thanks, secondary code is 0 I suppose, holding sync + eject made all 4 rol blink faster.

I'm gonna take the pictures now, to show the solder.

BTW, is it ok to reflash the original dump? My original flash doesn't match with the dump I just did after restore, could be because of a bad block I had on original?

I'm guessing your code will probably be 0022. you only gave the first number. I wouldn't flash anything. Likke martin said check all your solder, and pics when you can.

Well.. I already reflashed back my original dump, thinking was a bad flash issue, is it a problem?

Thanks everybody, I have (kind of) sorted out... :(
While installing the RROD kit I lifted C8P4 capacitor.. didn't realized at the moment.

You can see it's missing from blue cable picture, so I don't think is a CR issue, sorry for bothering :(
