Description of problem: When I try to boot up xbox I get rrod (0031) I see where it says "Warning could not patch smc" in jrunner. I am guessing it has to do with rrod. The console works fine when I write back the stock image so its not gpu related. Thanks

Was the console working before you started: Y

This may not be a solution for you, but had a somewhat similar situation not too recently ago.

I had a Xenon come in for modding, it was on 7371 and was barely applicable for Jtag, I used Jrunner and of course, I dumped the nand, using Jrunner and my Nand-X, I also wrote the ECC and booted successfully, I got my CPU key and decrypted my dumped nand, but when trying to create an XEbuild I was face with an error message about a clean SMC been used and could not continue.

What I did to resolve the issue is took the dump I made with Jrunner and put in in "Actual" Xebuild program, then of course added my CPU key, then created the hacked nand, then I got that nand and flashed it back using Jrunner. For some reason Jrunner/xebuild just game me the SMC error and would not let me continue, but "XeBuild" let me select the SMC to be used and whatnot, I used the image from there in jrunner to flash back to the console and everything worked like a charm. I have no explaination why Jrunner would not let me continue, but I got it going anyway.

This worked perfectly !!!! Did exactly what you said by using XeBuild GUI program, loaded in jrunner, wrote the nand, and now the console boots up like it should. Thank you much rghpro!!
