Ruin my chances?

After getting this older 360 (last used around late 2009) running again my kids bought and started playing COD Black Ops. I'm guessing the rush to play this game has rendered my chances of this JTAG thing to zilch as my dashboard is now 2.0.8955.0. Am I right that this game upgraded the dashboard?

Well I guess that is one whole subforum I don't have to educate myself on. :rolleyes: Of course neither of the two stickies even say wth a jtag is anyway. I wish I would have read anything about games upgrading this dashboard. Where is it that I am missing the most basic of 360 information?
