Hey guys,

I recently backed up 2 games on my HD. Leisure Suit Larry and The Incredible Hulk:Ultimate Destruction. I tried to play them but the both give me the message "This game must be run from it's orginal game disc". Is there anyway around this problem? Thanks.

I should mention that I'm trying to play them straight off the HD in my Xbox if that makes a difference. Thanks again.

See that's thing, I noticed while doing research, everyone asks that question. I'm not exactly sure. I just choose the "Copy Game Disc" option on my dashboard. I checked my applications and I do have DVD2XBOX. Could that be the one it uses?

i don't know if newer versions of dvd2xbox fix this issue but i remember the hulk game needs the xbe patched so that it can play from the hdd
however as i said before, using the latest version of dvd2xbox may have fixed this issue

I have also tried to backup using DVD2XBOX, but that still didn't work. Maybe I need the latest version. Where can I get that and how do I install that to my Xbox overwriting the previous version?

Thanks...what about patches? How do those work if I have one. I download a patch for the incredible hulk (hulk.ppf). I also have the same problem with Leisure suit larry.

With DVD2Xbox you may have to turn on ACL processing to get the this fixed.
