Running original xbox homebrew

After you install the xbox original emulator, can you run xbox original homebrew like XBMC?

No. I've yet to see anyone get XBMC up and running on a 360.

Can anyone comment or link to something that would provide the logic behind this?

It seems xbox emulators work fairly well, why wouldn't XBMC work.

some homebrew original xbox apps do work. I have had luck with some of the emulators, and some of the homebrew games(DoomX works, but randomly fails). as for xbmc, i have read that some have gotten it to start, but it wont play video files, and freezes alot. There are other video apps made for the xbox 360, while the best one is a Mplayer port called XMplayer, and runs in xell.
