s25 orig.bin dont exist do i use 0800 disk

Hello Guys,

I know that there have been several posts on this already but i cant find the answer im looking for so sorry in advance.

I tried to mod my samsung ms25 drive (which had not been previously modded) with the new fw but when i try to do it i get the backup\seralnumber\orig.bin doesnt exist and i sam tool aborts.Now from what i have read am i right in thinking that i have to use this 0800 .iso to get passed some firmware guard protection?

basicly i need to know what to do next to fix this error i have tried formating my flash drive and putting on the fw again but this doesnt work so if anyone could help me at all id be very very greatful,

you dont need to do anything to get in a v25 drive the first time.after you flash it you will have to do the 10 sec trick to get back in next time.
make sure you are using iprep

Ok i figured out what the problem is originally i thought that i had somehow modded my 360 wrong but i found out that when running the iprep it was only detecting 2 drives (which are the two i already have) and was not finding the 360's drive.I have looked at the guide and tried the 0800 disk as i thought the problem was the orig.bat file but then relised that tis wasnt there as i was trying to mod one of my pc's drive. so basicly my problem now is that iprep wont pick up my drive at all,

if anyone would please help me you would make me a very happy person

you will just have to mess with it some.try a different sata port on the card.try a different pci slot,cable card every thing.
when the computer sees the 360 drive it will be
"xtreme pri master"

the first computer i tryed on would not work i have to use a different one.
dont have the sata from your computer hook up till after you are up and running in dos at the promp.then hook up the sata and put in idump.and it should list xtreme pri master

im using the onboard sata port and it is the same pc which i modded my old xbox360 (before the bannings) so im guessing that it should work. I tried your solutions and all i get up is two choices 1: xtreme sec master and 2:L xtreme sec slave then if i select one of them it goes port:d800,Master/Slave:a0 and jst stays like that but im guessing that the two options that come up are my two dvd drives

as long as its a via chipset.for v25/v28 it needs to be

i jst edited my reply there sorry if you didnt seei have v25 and have tried the cd,and flash version and the 0800 disk even though im s25 none of them worked it just wont detect my 360 drive and i have changed cables and the sata ports that im using but i cant come out with a solution

ok i used a different pc (my brothers dell) and it seemed to work grand everything went according to the guide but when i tried to test it i got the e64 error screen so i looked at the forums and i saw it was advised to restore the orig.bat file using the 0800 disk which i tried but when i press the open button on my xbox it wont work it will not respond at all it just brings me to the dashboard and says that it is opening if i hit the button again it says closing or reading but the cd drive never moves can anyone help me please
