RGH Safe to dash update Jasper since RGH 2 coming?

Was thinking about updating to play the new Street Fighter online.
From what I'm reading the RGH 2.0 should still be valid on an updated Jasper, correct?

Neutral currently.
With DemoN announced I was debating to wait for that.
But now seeing there will be a non coolrunner version, I may get the coolrunner and nand-x currently then. Still debating it.
