safe to swap drives?

im a newb!


is it safe for me to swap say a benq drive with a liteon? as i do not have the CK3 PROBE, so i just unplug and plug in the benq in its place. would that be ok?

It's a little bit more involved that that... And will probably get your console banned.. You're going to need a via sata or an x360usb, a ck3 and the probe.. As well as jungle flasher to read the DVD key. I strongly suggest reading the jungle flasher manual thoroughly if this is the route you'd like to take. If toure going through all of this I would assume sticking with a liteon.. Your console will be much more safe. Hope this helps

No, that is not possible, You need to retrieve the key from the benq, Each key is unique to each motherboard. Just like a standard key lock.

So straight swapping is not an option, Also, spoofing drives to look like other drives is no longer supported. So replace like for like, especially if you like xbox live.
