Hi demon2011 in the details of the firmware after i flash to LT2.0 theirs no spoofed as..
that doesn't really matter...it is still spoofed , even though it doesn't say it
supposed to be liteon, requires liteon to play XGD3 games
no spoofing !
Can I spoof my AP25 drive to a Samsung or early Hitachi? Could this trick the console into disabling AP25 checks because these drives don't have AP25?
No. AP25 checks the OSIG (original drive signature: make+version+fw) stored in your motherboard which cannot be changed (unless you have a JTAG/RGH console). If the drive specifed here is one that supports AP25, the console will initiate the AP25 challenges, regardless of whether the actual physical installed drive supports AP25 or not.

So if the OSIG stored is a Liteon, BenQ or late Hitachi, and your actual drive is a Samsung or early Hitachi (spoofed or not), the AP25 challenges are initiated. The drive cannot respond to these challenges because it is not AP25-aware. So the check fails, the disc doesn't boot, and you may get flagged for a future XBL ban.

and thats just the problem is the ap2.5,not xgd3. people have been told for over a year now not to spoof, whats 30 bucks for a new drive and not of had the hassle to update to 13146 or newer and be able to play everything? im not even understanding why these kinds of threads are even allowed to be posted asking questions or wanting support for something no one here has recommended or supported in so long now. not flaming or anything, moneys tight for everyone right now god knows, but if you want hassle free play/updates now you need the orig drive or least drive type that was in it when it shipped.

I tried two 7 series drives thats why i started this post as i never seen or read this problem anywhere also one 7 series drive is taken of a working xbox 360 with lt plus 2.
Been 3 days working on it but as robuklen could be a laser with dvd not burned correctly. Will try different media and post my results. Thanks again for the help.

Are you 100% the firmware is correct?

Older versions of LT+ do not support backups. If you have an older OFW on the drive, it is not designed to support the new format either.
