samsung drive bricked i think

hi people

im sure i bricked my samsung ms25 drive becasue can not play games but only can play dvd's and when i go to put the orig frimware back on all i get is port: ??? master/salve : a0

?=something else there can not remember

so if any 1 knows a way round this would be helpful and as im getting a broken xbox with a new samsung drive init do i only have to get the the orig.bin frimware of it then get my orig.bin on my other drive and just use hex edit to put the drive key into it the new drive thanks to people who help.

If your orig.bin has a valid key, then it's recoverable. Read the section of the tutorial on "Upgrading the Firmware" and you will understand why you're having those port errors when flashing your drive.

You have to use the 0800 disc to disable FirmGuard or if you have a VIA brand SATA chipset you can use the bad-flash method to bypass it.
