I just bought a Samsung external hdd 500 GB, I was wonderin if I can use this external hdd on my Jtag? I'm askin first before I try and use this. If its possible what do I have to do first? I have a M$ hdd hooked up on my Jtag but its only 60 GB, and I was tryin to hook up the external hdd but dont know what to do.

As rdubbs007 said format it to fat32 make a folder on it Games set Manage Game Paths in setting on FSD to USB0\ eg. Games or Emulators or what ever your planning on putting on you USB hdd.
Get GParted to format the drive easy to use
